SIRIUS ANNOUNCES NEW PROGRAMMING LINEUP
New Music Genres Now Found Only On SIRIUS
CES, LAS VEGAS, NV -- January 8, 2003 -- SIRIUS (NASDAQ: SIRI), the only satellite radio service delivering uncompromised coast-to-coast music and entertainment for your car and home, announced today that it will expand and enhance its music and entertainment lineup. Debuting for listeners on February 3rd, the new programming will include eight brand new music streams, three new news streams, and three new entertainment streams.
SIRIUS offers 60 music streams with no commercials. No commercials on any music stream means pure, uncut music content 24 hours a day. Many of the new SIRIUS music streams dive deep into musical realms often overlooked by conventional radio, including streams dedicated to jam bands, international rap, and dance club music.
NEW Music Streams
Jam Central (17) A new Rock channel playing all the latest from the growing segment of Jam bands on the scene. You'll hear artists like: Phish, The Grateful Dead, moe., The Dave Matthews Band, Blues Traveler, Gov't Mule, and Widespread Panic.
Planet Rhyme (41) The international sound of Hip Hop featuring Latin, Caribbean, and European flavas. You'll hear artists like: Bounty Killer, Sizzla, Fat Joe, Floetry, Cuban Link, Fuera De Ley, Les Nubians, and Jamiroquai.
Wax (42) World class DJs show off their cutting & scratchin' skills. Featuring the hottest new MCs in freestyle battles, Wax will feature artists like: DJ Ace, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls, Big Daddy Kane, and Red Alert.
House Party (60) A new Dance stream playing your favorite House music, with artists like: Marshall Jefferson, Inner City, Doug Lazy, Todd Terry, J.M. Silk, and Frankie Knuckles.
The Rave (62) Tune in for the non-stop energy of the club nightlife. Featuring the hottest club DJs in the world. It's the 24/7 showcase for the newest Dance remixes breaking out across America.
Folk Town (94) A new variety stream playing Folk music, featuring Pete Seeger, Simon & Garfunkel, Phil Ochs, Arlo Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Dave Van Ronk, Peter, Paul, and Mary, John Prine, and Fairport Convention.
The Trend (18) The Trend you know and love isn't going away, it is just expanding to accommodate even more great music. Showcasing world-class rock and trend-setting music from artists like: Sheryl Crow, Dave Matthews Band, Bonnie Raitt, Sting, David Gray, U2, Lenny Kravitz, Alanis Morissette, and R.E.M.
Movin' Easy (04) E-Z listening vocal and instrumental favorites from artists like: Barbra Streisand, Tom Jones, The Carpenters, Neil Diamond, Engelbert Humperdinck, and Andy Williams.

The Weather Channel Radio Network, West (112) TWC West is tailored to our listeners West of the Rockies. These forecasts are available when you need them most, whether you are driving in Seattle, Washington or San Diego, California, tune in to hear the latest weather conditions in your area.
SIRIUS Left (145) SIRIUS Left offers uncompromised dialogue about the political and social issues affecting both the national and international community. Hosts include Peter Werbe, Ernie Brown, Mike Malloy, consumer advocate David Horowitz, and SIRIUS' own John McMullen.

In order to make some room for these exciting new streams, as of February 3rd, the following streams will no longer be available: The Express (44); Jazz En Clave (61); Tropical (70); Alt Ñ (72); Tejano (77); SIRIUS Arts (161); The Hook Up (167); Intimate (172); and Real SIRIUS (117).
