The Masters Tournament to Air Nationwide on XM Satellite Radio

Washington, D.C. – Golf fans nationwide can hear complete coverage of the Masters Tournament from Augusta, Ga., on XM Satellite Radio April 7 – 13 on XM channel 146.

XM will provide more live radio coverage of the Masters than any other broadcaster. 2008 will mark XM’s third consecutive year as the exclusive satellite radio network of the Masters.

XM tees off its coverage of Masters Week on April 7 with Peter Kessler’s daily morning show “Making the Turn." XM will be at Augusta starting April 8 with the pre-event press conferences at Augusta National Golf Club. An in-depth preview of the Masters and interviews from the Par 3 Contest will air April 9. Live play-by-play coverage can be heard on XM April 10 to 13, from the first tee to the green jacket ceremony.

XM’s Brian Katrek will host the broadcast and John Maginnes will be the lead analyst. XM reporters will include Mark Carnevale, Doug Bell, Fred Albers, and John Tautges. Jim Gray will join the XM broadcast team to interview players at Augusta. The XM team will be located at key positions on the course for coverage and commentary.
