NEW YORK and FORT WORTH, TEXAS – June 30, 2004 – SIRIUS (NASDAQ: SIRI) Satellite Radio and RadioShack Corporation (NYSE: RSH) today announced the ORBITER Model SR4000 plug and play satellite radio receiver is now being shipped to RadioShack stores across the country. Orbiter will be the only satellite radio receiver offered by RadioShack, the nation’s most trusted consumer electronics specialty retailer, when it introduces Sirius satellite products and services at nearly 6,000 neighborhood stores in July. “We are excited about the opportunity to offer our customers the very best satellite radio content and hardware available,” said Don Carroll, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for RadioShack. “By partnering with SIRIUS, RadioShack is continuing to deliver on its reputation for introducing customers to innovative, leading-edge products while making it easy for them to buy and activate subscription-based services.”

According to Carroll, RadioShack aligned with SIRIUS because of its stature as the premium satellite radio provider known for delivering the best in commercial-free music and sports programming. SIRIUS features more than 110 channels of music, news, sports, entertainment, and traffic, including over 60 channels of 100-percent commercial-free music, live play-by-play coverage of the NHL and, beginning this fall, the entire NFL season. Through July 17, 2004, the SIRIUS’ subscription rate is $9.99 a month with an annual subscription paid in advance.

The ORBITER receiver, which includes an infrared remote, is a transportable SIRIUS satellite radio that can be easily moved from a car to a truck, home, RV or boat. The receiver, which has an MSRP of $99.95, is compatible with mobile and home docking stations and a boombox. The mobile docking station (SM4000) and home docking station (SH4000) have an MSRP of $49.95 each. The optional boombox, allowing listeners to take SIRIUS everywhere they go, has an MSRP of $99.95.

The mobile and home docking kits and boombox provide customers the flexibility to install the unit in a variety of locations using just one SIRIUS subscription. Each kit includes an antenna and RCA audio connections. The mobile docking station features a wireless FM transmitter, which easily transmits the SIRIUS signal to an existing car radio. The boombox operates on AC power or batteries. The ORBITER receiver, mobile and home docking stations and boombox will be available at RadioShack stores, or by calling 1-888-MY SIRIUS.

Features of the ORBITER receiver include 30 presets, music title and artist scan, multiple search and display modes, three different font/display styles, adjustable audio output level and a clock. A 6-line display features channel number, channel name, category, artist name, song title and time. The receiver also includes the very popular “S-Seek,” which prompts users when one of their pre-selected favorite songs is playing anywhere on SIRIUS and lets them switch to it at the touch of a button. Finally, ORBITER features Program Alert, which prompts listeners when favorite programs are playing on other channels.
