SIRIUS Satellite Radio To Simulcast NBC Fundraiser Tsunami Aid: A Concert Of Hope
Star-Studded Event To Air Saturday, January 15 at 8pm ET
NEW YORK - January 13, 2%%5 - SIRIUS Satellite Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) today announced it will broadcast the audio portion of Tsunami Aid: A Concert Of Hope, which will air on NBC and eight other broadcast and cable networks this Saturday, January 15.
Tsunami Aid: A Concert Of Hope will feature scheduled performances by Madonna, Sheryl Crow, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Annie Lennox, Maroon 5, Norah Jones, Sarah McLachlan, Mary J. Blige, Lenny Kravitz, Eric Clapton, John Mayer, Kenny Chesney, Gloria Estefan, Nelly and many more. The musical program will be augmented by appearances by Halle Berry, Kevin Spacey, Usher, George Clooney, Uma Thurman, Matt Damon, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas, Bruce Willis, Danny Devito and many other stars.
This two-hour, non-commercial fundraising effort will benefit the American Red Cross in a two-phased assistance plan which includes specialized relief immediately and over the long term.
