Auburn Hills, Mich. - When Chrysler, Dodge and JeepĀ® customers arrive at their local dealerships to select their new 2003 and 2004 vehicles, they will also have the option to tune into a new listening experience as SIRIUS Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI) is now available at all Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep dealerships across the continental U.S. The Chrysler Group is offering SIRIUS Satellite Radio as both a dealer and factory-installed feature.

SIRIUS Satellite Radio is available on 16 different 2003 model-year vehicles as a Mopar dealer-installed offering:

  • Chrysler: PT Cruiser, Sebring Sedan and Convertible, 300M, Concorde, Voyager, Town and Country;
  • Dodge: Stratus Sedan, Dakota, Durango, Ram, Intrepid, Neon, Caravan, Grand Caravan;
  • Jeep: Liberty and Grand Cherokee.

The suggested retail price will be $299 plus installation, and a SIRIUS Satellite Radio subscription is $12.95 per month. An activation fee of $15 will be waived for customers selecting the Mopar dealer-installed option.

"Just as Mopar offers the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep customer accessories to match their vehicle and lifestyle, SIRIUS Satellite Radio offers that same appeal to a wide range of our customers through its expansive programming," said Christine Cortez, senior vice president - Global Parts and Service Operations.

Beginning in this month, SIRIUS Satellite Radio and a one-year subscription will be offered as standard equipment on the 2003 Chrysler PT Dream Cruiser Series 2. In February, SIRIUS will be offered as a factory-installed option on the 2004 Chrysler 300M. Also, the all-new 2004 Chrysler Pacifica will offer SIRIUS when it hits dealer showrooms this spring.

The suggested retail price for factory installation will be $295, plus the monthly SIRIUS subscription fee. However, customers ordering factory-installation of SIRIUS satellite radio on their vehicles will receive two months of service provided by SIRIUS and no activation fee upon initiating a subscription.

"Satellite radio will change the radio listening experience the same way cable changed the way we watch television," said Jack Withrow, director Vehicle Entertainment and Communications. "Once you experience SIRIUS satellite radio in your vehicle, you will not want to go without it."
