On Sunday, February 18, SIRIUS will air the Daytona 500 live nationwide on SIRIUS NASCAR Radio, channel 128, carrying the broadcast of Motor Racing Network (MRN). On 10 additional channels, SIRIUS will combine the race broadcast with the driver-to-crew chatter of 10 different race teams, allowing fans to follow the overall race call and the in-car audio of a driver on a single channel. Listeners will hear drivers and crew chiefs schedule pit stops and discuss strategy over audio of the overall race broadcast. When the team members are not on the radio the audio of the live race broadcast will come up allowing listeners to follow the entire race uninterrupted.

For every NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race, SIRIUS will dedicate up to 10 additional channels that will carry driver-to-crew chatter for NASCAR's top drivers based on the points standings. One channel will carry the "Fan's Choice" broadcast, featuring the in-car audio of a driver determined by fan votes. Race fans can log on to www.sirius.com/driverfeeds and vote for the driver of their choice. The driver with the most votes will have his in-car audio broadcast on the "Fan's Choice" channel, which will air on SIRIUS channel 140 during that weekend's NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race.

"The Daytona 500 is the premier event on the NASCAR racing calendar and SIRIUS will cover the race from more angles than ever before on satellite radio," said Scott Greenstein, SIRIUS' President, Entertainment and Sports. "Eleven SIRIUS channels will carry race action and in-car driver-to-crew chatter and, all week leading up to the race, SIRIUS NASCAR Radio / channel 128, will be the place for all the latest news and analysis."
