NEW YORK - January 10, 2008 - SIRIUS Satellite Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) today announced that it has named Paul Turcotte as Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales. Turcotte will lead a team that sells advertising across SIRIUS' 65 channels of sports, news, talk, entertainment, traffic and weather.

Turcotte most recently served at Hachette-Filipacchi Media U.S., as Senior Vice President, Corporate Sales and Marketing, and as a Director of Online and Digital Media. At Hachette, Turcotte also served as Vice President and Publisher of Premiere and Sound & Vision magazines.

Turcotte's extensive career also includes vast experience as a senior advertising executive at national magazines, including Vanity Fair, Men's Health, Field & Stream and Outdoor Life, as well as leading the startup and serving as Publisher of Ziff-Davis Inc.'s Yahoo! Internet Life magazine.

Sam Benrubi, who led advertising sales, will remain at SIRIUS reporting to Turcotte where he will oversee ad sales for The Howard Stern Show, and Howard 100 and Howard 101, the two 24/7 channels dedicated to all things Howard Stern. Advertising revenues for Stern's show and his channels have grown significantly since Stern began on SIRIUS on Jan. 9, 2006, and SIRIUS is dedicating an executive to selling commercial time to Stern's many advertisers.
